Social Studies & Science Resources Mapped to Curriculum in the Online Reference Centre

Many teachers use LearnAlberta and the Online Reference Centre (ORC). But did you know that the ORC has created curriculum maps that show alignments for K-12 Social Studies and Science? These curriculum maps enable you to understand at a glance, which ORC resources are aligned to specific Programs of Study. ORC resources include PebbleGO, BookFLIX, National Geographic Kids, World Book, and more. TumbleBooks for K-6 is Available in the CBE

The CBE's partnership with the Calgary Public Library offers our students and school communities a variety of valuable learning resources and opportunities, including a subscription to the TumbleBooks Library. This is the second year that we have access to this valuable digital resource.  TumbleBooks includes over 1100 resources for students in K-6, including: Math stories Award-winning novels, graphic novels, and books National Geographic Videos Read-along books Books in English, French, and Spanish Fiction and non-fiction books To access TumbleBooks, click here .
